The hotel amazed me with the beautiful view it presented. The location was really great as it was close to some interesting local attractions. The staff was always happy to help, and they were able to speak some English which was a relief. The breakfast was also quite good for the price, and the variety of food options was impressive. The room was large enough and well-maintained, with standard amenities and a comfortable bed. I also loved the traditional style of the room, with tatami mats and sliding doors.
While the hotel overall was good, it had some areas that could have used improvement. The cleanliness was average, and some areas of the hotel looked rundown.

Room size was decent, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. the location was central, and the onsite restaurant had delicious food.
The elevators were extremely slow, and often overcrowded. the noise level from other guests and street traffic was also bothersome, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We had an incredible stay at a hotel with a fantastic view, spacious rooms, and a Japanese-style decor with tatami mats. The hotel had two separate onsen for men and women, which were open from 6-9am and 16-1am. We also loved the big terrace on the hotel roof, where we could grab a beer and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Another great aspect was the convenience of getting to the hotel. We took local bus number 5 in front of the train station for only 150 yen, thanks to a piece of paper with the hotel's address in Japanese that we obtained from the tourist information. Alternatively, a taxi ride would cost around 1500-2000 yen. The exceptional service from the reception staff was the icing on the cake.
Everything is what we need and want.
